Trail cameras have been a fascinating experience for me and my family. We enjoy the wonders of the great outdoors.
In one experience we shared, I bought a new trail camera to set up on a trail we always traveled. We went and set it in a place that we always wondered what else had traveled. It was there only one night. Using infrared night vision we were able to capture some amazing images. These images included some wild hogs, foxes, and larger animals such as the large whitetail deer.
Our daytime images included chipmunks, squirrels, and some beautiful birds that the trail camera caught. In several of the images captured we were able to identify the various species of even some insects that flew in the path and were so clear we took time to look them up on the internet at home by comparing the images to images that were shown on internet. This was a very interesting and educational experience for my family and me.
I still use trail cameras for educational purposes now that my children are older and don't seem to have as much time for our family gatherings. We enjoy the digital technology so that when we go out to check out our daily images we can view and delete the ones we don't need. It is a great way to spend some quality time with your whole family and enjoy beauty of nature it's also a great way to educate yourself in the great wonders of the outdoors.
